In Delhi, rainfall returns to the forecast from June 27 to 30, going by the IMD’s forecast for the next six days. While light rainfall is likely on June 27 and 28, thundershowers are on the forecast for June 29 and 30. With the rainfall, the maximum temperature is likely to drop to around 35 degrees Celsius by June 30.
Delhi on Thursday recorded 1,934 new Covid-19 cases with the positivity rate at 8.10 per cent, according to data shared by the health department. This is the highest single-day tally since February 4. The active case load has remained over 5,000 for six days in a row.
In a bid to curb vehicular pollution, the Delhi government has decided to ban the entry of medium and heavy goods vehicles to the national capital from October to February, officials said on Thursday. Vehicles carrying raw vegetables, fruit, grains, milk and such essential commodities will, however, be allowed, they said.Screenshot_2022-06-24-11-24-09-00_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.jpg
