The victim, a third-year BA student, reported that she was lured by one of the accused, Vansh Chaudhary, under the pretense of taking her out for recreational activities.

On August 16, she was taken to a guest house where she was confined and subsequently gang-raped by Vansh and two of his friends. The situation escalated when three additional men were invited to further assault her. The victim's ordeal did not end there; she reported that she was raped again on subsequent occasions, including on the nights of August 22 and 23, by Vansh and another individual named Vinay.

The police have registered a case against nine
individuals in total, with eight arrests made so far. The incident has drawn significant media attention, highlighting the ongoing issues of violence against women in India, particularly in areas surrounding religious sites. Authorities are under pressure to ensure justice for the victim and to take stringent action against the perpetrators.

This case is part of a broader concern regarding women's safety in India, where many incidents of sexual violence go unreported or are inadequately addressed by law enforcement. The victim's bravery in coming forward has been commended, and it is hoped that her case will lead to greater awareness and action against such crimes.
