Ghazipur 19 September: (Desk)In Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, a young man was apprehended by police for placing a wooden log on the railway tracks, an act that could have led to a serious train accident.

The incident occurred in the early hours when the 'Swatantrata Senani Express' was en route from Ghazipur Ghat station to the city station. The train's driver noticed the obstruction and applied emergency brakes, successfully stopping the train, although a piece of wood became lodged in the
engine.

investigation, police arrested three individuals: Danish Ansari, Sonu Kumar, and Akash Kumar. They were found smoking ganja on the tracks at night and admitted to placing the wood there for fun while under the influence of alcohol. This reckless behavior raised concerns about potential attempts to derail trains in the area.
