Truck Crashes into Tree in Baghpat, Driver Killed, Helper Seriously Injured

Baghpat 06 September (desk):-A tragic accident occurred in the Binauli police station area of Baghpat district, where a truck lost control and crashed into a eucalyptus tree near Jauhari village on the Baraut-Meerut road. The driver, trapped inside the truck, died at the scene, while the helper sustained serious injuries. Police arrived at the scene after being notified, extricated the driver's body, and sent it for post-mortem. The injured helper was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Anil Kumar (42), son of Rishipal, a resident of Chandayan village in Binauli. Anil was a truck driver, transporting reel paper from Gangotri Paper Mill to Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. He was accompanied by his helper, Robin, son of Shambhu from Lakhimpur Kheri. On Thursday evening, Anil visited his home in Chandayan, had dinner, and left with Robin at around 10 PM. Anil, who had gone to sleep in the truck, met with the accident on the Baraut-Meerut road near Jauhari village when Robin, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle.

The truck veered off the road and collided with a eucalyptus tree, completely damaging the vehicle. Both the driver and helper were trapped inside the wreckage. Upon hearing the commotion, passersby and locals gathered at the scene. The police arrived shortly after and managed to pull out Anil's lifeless body, while Robin was severely injured.

The police took Robin to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Binauli for treatment and informed Anil’s family of the tragic incident. His wife Anita and sons Shiva and Tushar were devastated by the news. The police filed a report and sent Anil's body for post-mortem in Baghpat.
