Bhadohi. A fire broke out during aarti at Durga Pandal at Narthua in the district around 9 pm on Sunday. More than 150 people were present at the time of the incident. 50 people got burnt in the accident. So far, five including three children have died. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may come to Bhadohi today. In view of his arrival, the Bhadohi district administration has started preparing. When CM Yogi came to know about this incident on Sunday night, he had ordered the officials to provide immediate relief and better treatment of the injured. After this, arrangements were made to immediately take the seriously scorched people to Varanasi through the Green Corridor. When a big incident happened due to fire in the Puja pandal, the police administration also woke up from sleep. In the investigation of the SIT team, prima facie the cause of fire has been found due to heating of halogen light and catching fire. Most of the people were badly injured in the accident, who are being treated in different hospitals. Some of the scorched people were referred to Varanasi, four to Prayagraj. The treatment of the remaining 18 people is going on in the district hospital. After the incident late on Sunday night, ADG Prabhat Kumar, Commissioner Vindhyachal Yogeshwar Ram, DIG RP Singh took stock of the incident on the spot. Instructed the police force posted there to keep an eye on the situation.
