The police recruitment examination in Varanasi took place at 80 centers,

Varanasi 23 august:-(desk( The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) organized this significant recruitment drive for constables, with a total of 1,174 examination centers set up across the state. The examination is being conducted over several days, with strict security measures in place to ensure the integrity of the process.

The first shift of the UP Police Constable direct recruitment examination has concluded in Varanasi. Entry began at 9 AM and the gates were closed at 9:30 AM. Strict security arrangements were made at all centers.

The exam started at 10 AM and continued till 12 noon. The second shift will commence at 3 PM. A total of 33,000 candidates will appear for the exam across 80 centers in Varanasi.

Candidates had started arriving in Varanasi since Thursday evening to appear for the exam. Many were seen spending the night at the railway station, while some opted for guest houses.

The Varanasi Police and district administration made elaborate arrangements to ensure the fairness of the exam. For the first time, CCTV cameras have been installed in all exam halls at every center. The cameras were checked a day in advance.
