On Thursday morning, the junkyard Yameen had come to sell the stolen bike at the warehouse of mechanic Devendra Singh alias Kale in Jawahar Park. Police have recovered bikes and parts from both of them.
Superintendent of Police II Gyanendra Kumar Singh said that Devendra Singh alias Kale resident of DDA Flat New Seemapuri Delhi and Yamin resident of Jawahar Park Shaheed Nagar have been arrested. Both buy stolen vehicles from the last one year. During interrogation, it was revealed that Yameen is engaged in buying junk. There are four-five thieves of the vehicle theft gang in contact with him. He used to buy stolen bikes or scooties from them for four to five thousand rupees. Then after taking them to Devendra Singh's godown, they used to sell the parts of those vehicles separately for ten thousand rupees. The profits were shared between the two.
