In Ghaziabad, Muslim youth protested against Bhajan in Durga Pandal, reached jail with family; police force deployed

Ghaziabad:A Muslim youth opposed the bhajan-kirtan being held in Durga Puja pandal late on Saturday night in Pasaunda of Tila Mod police station area. There was a fight between the two sides over this. The police, who reached the information, explained the matter to the people and pacified the matter. Filed a report against six people including the accused youth on the organizer's complaint.
Vimal Shakya installed the idol of Durga Maa in Pasaunda on Saturday. Bhajan-Kirtan was going on in the puja pandal. People were worshiping the mother and doing bhajan-kirtan. At around 11:30 pm, the son of the neighboring Nizam Ansari protested against this by talking about his mother's health.
There was a fight between the two sides over this. During this, a large crowd gathered on the spot. On information, the local police reached. The police explained to the people from both the sides.
Vimal Shakya gave a complaint at Tila Mor police station. Based on that, the police registered a report against the Nizam, his wife Zarina Begum, daughter Sajia, son Asad and neighbors Rahil and Sahil. After this all the accused were arrested. He was sent to jail on Sunday.
Pasaunda is a mixed population area. The police-administration has become alert regarding this dispute. A constable and four constables are stationed on the spot. Police officers are keeping an eye. Superintendent of Police, Nagar II Gyanendra Singh said that police are deployed on the spot. There is complete peace in the area.
