A new master plan for the next 20 years will be created in an area of one lakh hectares in the city of Bikaner. A framework for planned development will be prepared, including 63 villages and settlements.
A 20-year master plan for development was created in Bikaner city in 2003, which is now coming to an end this year. A new master plan for the next 20 years, until the year 2043, will be created, which will consider other nearby villages in addition to the 63 villages and settlements. The UIT and Central Government initiatives have already been completed for the new master plan. Work orders have also been issued, and the master plan will be ready by the end of this year. Taking into account the increasing population over the next 20 years, according to the new master plan, schools, colleges, hospitals, roads and industrial areas will be designated in the city.
A survey report will be prepared for the city of Bikaner to create the new master plan, and data will be collected. Discussions will be held on upcoming proposals from all government departments. Coordination will be established with their officials. Discussions will also be held with UIT and municipal officials. Special attention will be given to industrial development, and a study will be conducted on where and what can be done. A map of the city will be prepared, showing government land, municipal land, cemetery land, forest land, lakes, forests, and water supply. The master plan will be prepared and sent to the government for approval.
