8 killer several injured in collision of double decker buses

As many as 8 people were killed and nearly 20 others have been injured when a Delhi-bound double-decker bus rammed into a stationary double-decker bus on Uttar Pradesh's Purvanchal expressway on Monday morning.
The injured have been admitted to CHC Haidergarh Community Health Center. As per reports, three people among the injured are said to be in critical condition and have been referred to Trauma Center in Lucknow for treatment. The accident occurred when the double-decker bus rammed right into another bus close to Narendrapur Madraha village of Loniktra police station space. Both the buses were en route to Delhi from Bihar.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Barabanki, Manoj Pandey said the bus coming from Sitamarhi in Bihar hit the stationary bus from behind near Narendrapur Madraha village. Efforts are on to identify the dead, the ASP said, adding the injured have been admitted to a local hospital from where the seriously injured are being referred to a trauma centre in Lucknow.
