Kalaiyarasan's 'Titanic - Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum' to release on May 6

Kalaiyarasan-starrer 'Titanic - Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum' is all set to hit the screens soon. The film is directed by debutant director M Janakiraman and CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment has bankrolled the project. While the film was earlier reported to release directly on OTT, the makers have now announced that the film will release in theatres on May 6, 2022. The film stars Kalaiyarasan, Anandhi, Varma Ramaswamy and Ashna Zaveri in the lead roles along with Kaali Venkat and Jangiri Madhumitha in supporting roles. Director M Janakiraman has assisted directors Bala, Sudha Kongara and Balaji Mohan. The film is a rom-com, and is said to be a fun film from start to finish. The story takes places in Chennai, Kodaikanal, a village near Coimbatore, and Bengaluru and also on a train. Interestingly, STR has sung a folk number titled 'Gokka Makka' along with Pragathi Guruprasad in the film. This is the first time the music director is collaborating with Simbu.
