Delhi Court Extends Remand of 2 members of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Duty Magistrate Bhavya Karhail of Patiala House Court on Saturday extended the custody of accused Ankit and Sachin after hearing submissions of Delhi Police. The two accused were initially sent on 5 day police custody in the alleged Sidhu Moose waala murder case. Delhi Police contented in court that further Police custody of five days is required to apprehend co- accused from their hide outs in Madhya Pradesh.

Two pistols and mobile has been recovered from their possession when both were arrested. The Police while seeking further custody from the court said that both Sachin and Ankit are members of Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang. The Police further added that the two accused along with other members of the gang are planning to commit a heinous crime in the city. To unearth the conspiracy, the Police require some more time to question both of them.

Meanwhile, Delhi court on Monday allowed Punjab Police to arrest three accused in the alleged murder case. All three have been arrested in MCOCA case. Singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered in broad daylight in Mansa, Punjab on May 29th 2022.
