Tender for Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project tunnel to open on Feb 9
The tender for construction of a 21-km tunnel, including a 7-km undersea stretch of Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor will begin on February 9. The tunnel, which is expected to be completed in 60 months, will connect underground stations in Maharashtra's Bandra-Kurla Complex and Shilphata. This will be country's first undersea tunnel as part of bullet train project.
