ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (PO) WANTED IN A FATAL ACCIDENT CASE NABBED BY THE TEAM OF PS WAZIRABAD.
• THE ACCUSED WAS DECLARED AS A PROCLAIMED OFFENDER VIDE ORDER DATED 08.06.22 BY THE HON’BLE MM, TIS HAZARI COURT, DELHI IN A CASE FIR NO. 608/16 U/S 279/304A, IPC PS SARAI ROHILLA DELHI.
BRIEF FACTS:
As per the directions of the senior officers, the dedicated PO team of North District Delhi was working to gather information regarding Proclaimed Offenders in Delhi and other areas of NCR.
On 23.08.2022, ASI Ashok Kumar of PS Wazirabad received a secret information through his reliable sources that one Proclaimed Offender namely Rohit @ Chatni would come to Sant Nagar Burari for some work. If raid is conducted well in time, the offender might be apprehended.
The information was immediately shared with senior officers and as per their directions, a dedicated police team of ASI Ashok Kumar and HC Ajit was constituted, under the close supervision of Inspr. Virender Kumar SHO/PS Wazirabad and guidance of Shri Patil Swagat Rajkumar and the team proceeded to the place of information to conduct the raid.
As per directions of senior officers and acting on the secret information, the dedicated police team laid a strategic trap with the help of technical investigation. The team by showing great sense of responsibility and alertness successfully apprehended the suspect on 23.08.2022 at about 07:10 pm from Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi, who was identified as the offender Rohit @ Chatni, age- 25 years.
On sustained enquiry and checking in police record, the offender Rohit @ Chatni, age- 25 years was found declared as a Proclaimed Offender vide order Dated 08.06.22 by the Hon’ble MM, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi in a case FIR No. 608/16, u/s 279/304A, IPC PS Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.
Accordingly, the offender was arrested u/s 41.1 (C) Cr.P.C. at PS Wazirabad and the accused/offender has been produced before the concerned Hon’ble court.
*PROFILE OF OFFENDER:- Rohit @ Chatni r/o JJ Colony, Wazirpur, Delhi, age- 25 years. (He was hiding himself to evade court proceedings. He studied up to 10th standard and he was working as a photographer.)
