Baghpat 11 September (desk):-Baghpat – In a bid to improve patient care and reduce waiting times, the Baghpat District Hospital is set to implement a new token system. The move is aimed at eliminating the long queues patients currently face while registering for checkups and receiving treatment in the Outpatient Department (OPD). Under the new system, patients will be issued a token number upon registration, which will streamline the entire treatment process.

Once the token is issued at the registration desk, the corresponding number will be sent to the assigned doctor. Patients can then monitor their token on screens installed in the hospital. When their number is called, they can directly proceed for their checkup, avoiding the hassle of standing in line. This system is expected to make the process more efficient and reduce overcrowding in the OPD.

After the consultation, patients will be able to use the same token number to collect their medications from the dispensary. The system will ensure that patients receive their medicines based on their token sequence, improving the overall organization and patient flow.

Dr. S.K. Chaudhary, Chief Medical Superintendent of the hospital, emphasized that the token system will significantly enhance patient convenience. "The introduction of this system will allow patients to receive their treatment without the stress of long waits. We aim to provide better healthcare services, and this is a step towards that goal," he said. The hospital plans to roll out the system in the coming weeks.
