Eknath Shinde said- I have the support of 46 MLAs, but not talking to BJP yet

Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde has said that at present he has 46 MLAs, including 6-7 independent MLAs. In a conversation with news agency ANI, Shinde said that this number will increase in the coming times. He clarified that at present he has neither received any proposal from BJP nor is he in any talks with BJP.

Eknath Shinde first went to Surat in Gujarat with some Shiv Sena MLAs and then reached Guwahati in Assam. On Tuesday, Shiv Sena tried to persuade him and he also talked to Uddhav Thackeray on the phone but it did not work out.

During the interview, Eknath Shinde said that in the current political situation, he would say that Shiv Sainiks of Balasaheb Thackeray should remain Shiv Sainiks. He also clarified that he is currently not in any talks with Shiv Sena or CM Uddhav Thackeray. Eknath Shinde said that he has not yet taken any decision regarding the further course of action.
