WEAPON RECOVERY
On 23/08/22 at about 0507 hrs a flying object blinking of white and red colour light was observed from Pak territory toward India side by forward deployed troops of BOP RAJA MOHTAM on the alignment of BP No 211/5 and subsequently forward troops deployed at HIT No 05 ASI Lal Mani Sharma fire 02 rds on the direction of the flying object from his personal weapon SMG.
In connection with the flying object a khura checking party of BOP Jogindar and BOP RAJA MOHTAM, led by SI Surender Kumar along with 04 Ors (including G rep) recovered 02 package properly wrap with white plastic gunny bag concealed under dry grass near BP No 212/11 approx 10mtrs from IB on own side at 0715 hrs.
Mention may also to be made that IB track of the Jogindar BOP was maintained fresh on 22/08/22 and Khura found on the zero line is fresh and recovered 02 packet
After opening the 02 package, the following articles were recovered.
