The closure aims to facilitate construction activities that are expected to improve access and infrastructure around the temple, which is a significant pilgrimage site in Ayodhya. The temple has been a focal point for devotees, and the enhancement of its surroundings is anticipated to accommodate the increasing number of visitors.

Mahant Sanjay Das has emphasized the importance of these development efforts in ensuring a better experience for pilgrims and maintaining the sanctity of the temple area. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to modernizing religious sites while preserving their cultural and spiritual significance.

During this period, alternative routes may be suggested for devotees wishing to visit the temple, ensuring that the impact of the closure is minimized. The temple administration is likely to provide updates on the progress of the work and any changes to access as the deadline approaches.
