BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENT
The Special staff of Outer District has arrested 02 Active Robbers/Snatchers/Burglars namely (1) Sanjay S/o Shyam Dev R/o F-2/16, Lal Quarter, Vijay Vihar Sec-4, Rohini, Delhi Age 31 yrs and (2) Raju @ Kake s/o Balle @ Hukam Singh R/o G -2, H No. 3, Lal Quarter, Vijay Vihar Sector-4, Rohini, Delhi, age 36 yrs along with the recovery of 01 Country made Pistol, 02 Live Cartridges, 02 Stolen Mobile Phones, 01 Stolen scooty.
TEAM FORMATION AND ARREST
Under the close supervision of Sh. Sameer Sharma, DCP/OD a team was constituted which was headed by Sh. Arun Kr. Choudhary ACP/Operations Outer District and comprised of Insp. Ajmer Singh I/C Special Staff/OD, SI Pardeep, HC Sunil, HC Navin, HC Tirender and Ct Dinesh to curb the increasing street crimes & to arrest the criminals carrying illegal firearms in the outer district. The motivated team worked meticulously and deployed the informers.
On 25.07.2022, a secret information regarding two persons namely Sanjay and Raju @ Kake carrying stolen mobile phone, scooty and country made pistol was received by special staff of Outer District . As per information, team reached at main road near NDPL office, Industrial Area Mangol Puri. After some time two suspected persons came on a white color scooty from Mangol Puri underpass side. On the instance of secret informer both the persons were stopped and detained near NDPL office. The Scooty rider was identified as Sanjay S/o Shyam Dev R/o F-2/16, Lal Quarter, Vijay Vihar, Sec-4, Rohini, Delhi, age 31 yrs and the pillion rider was identified as Raju @ Kake S/o Balle @ Hukam Singh R/o G -2, H No. 3, Lal Quarter, Vijay Vihar, Sector-4, Rohini, Delhi, age 36 yrs. But they did not produce any documentary proof regarding the ownership of their scooty. On suspicions the scooty was checked on ZIPNET and the same was found stolen from the area of PS- Paschim Vihar West in Case e-FIR No. 18074/22 Dt 02.07.2022 U/S 379 IPC.
After that search of the accused Sanjay was made and during his personal search two switched off mobile phones were recovered from his possession which were also found stolen from the area of PS- Raj Park and Rani Bagh. During the personal search of the accused Raju @ Kake, one country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered.
So, a case vide FIR No. 525/2022 dt 25.07.22 U/s 25 Arms Act was registered in PS Raj Park and both the accused persons were arrested.
INTERROGATION
During the interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they are drug addicts and to fulfil their need of money they started committing theft/ Burglary.
Accused Raju @ Kake disclosed that he was previously involved in two criminal cases and he was earlier arrested in a case of preparation to commit Dacoity in PS Tilak Nagar. He further disclosed that he had purchased the illegal weapon for committing robbery from a person namely Mohd. Izhar, but he did not know the whereabouts of the Mohd Izhar. Both the accused persons are smack addict and habitual offenders. Accused Sanjay is also found involved in 15 criminal cases.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED
Sanjay S/o Shyam Dev R/o F-2/16, Lal Quarter, Vijay Vihar Sec-4, Rohini, Delhi Age 31 yrs. He is 10th class passed and a drug addict. He is unemployed and has previous involvement in 02 criminal cases.
Raju @ Kake s/o Balle @ Hukam Singh R/o G -2, H No. 3, Lal Quarter, Vijay Vihar Sector-4, Rohini, Delhi, age 36 yrs. He is uneducated and a drug addict. He is unemployed and has previous involvement in 15 criminal cases.
RECOVERY
• 01 Country made Pistol & 02 Live Cartridges.
• 02 Stolen Mobile Phones.
• 01 Stolen Scooty.

Efforts are being made to trace Mohd Izhar and further investigation is in progress
