IN A MAJOR CRACKDOWN, 10 DESPERATE CRIMINALS WERE ARRESTED IN 24 HOURS BY DIFFERENT TEAMS OF NORTH-WEST UNDER OPERATION SAJAG.
09 KNIVES, 01 COUNTRY MADE PISTOL AND 02 STOLEN SCOOTIES WERE RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.
NORTH-WEST DISTRICT IS EVER COMMITTED FOR SAFETY & SECURITY OF ITS CITIZENS AND THUS SPECIAL DRIVES ARE BEING CONDUCTED IN THE DISTRICT ON REGULAR BASIS. IN THIS SPECIAL DRIVE, 9 KNIFERS & 1 WITH COUNTRY MADE PISTOL HAVE BEEN NABBED.
Under Operation Sajag, a continuing drive of North-West District for containment of crime & criminals and to dominate the streets so as to reduce street crimes as well as to instill confidence & sense of security among citizens, 10 desperate criminals nabbed in last 48 hours by different SAJAG Teams of North-West District.
Under this drive, alert patrolling staff and special pickets were deployed for intensive checking and during this exercise, a major breakthrough was achieved whereby different SAJAG Teams of North-West District nabbed 10 desperate criminals and recovered 10 knives & 02 stolen scooties from their possession. North-west district is ever committed for safety & security of its citizens and thus special drives are being conducted in the district on regular basis. In this special drive, 10 knifers having previous involvements have been nabbed.
Brief facts & incident Details:-
On 27.07.22 at about 09.50pm, HC Krishan Kumar of PS Keshav Puram was on patrolling duty with his staff and when they reached at Service Raod near HP Petrol Pump Ring Road Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 708/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Keshav Puram and accused Noor Babu @ Babu Khan S/o Md.Hunny @ Md.Hanif R/o C-4/130 Railway Line, Lawrence Road, Delhi, Age 21 Years has been arrested.
On 27.07.22 at about 04.45pm, HC Satish Kumar of PS Mahendra Park was on patrolling duty with his staff and when they reached at A Block Road, Near Sashila, Paint Jh. Puri, Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 946/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Mahendra Park and accused Vishal S/o Sher Singh R/o C-94Y DDA Flats, Jh. Puri, Delhi Age-25 yrs has been arrested.
On 27.07.22 at about 12.50pm, HC Manish Mehra of PS Jahangir Puri was on patrolling duty with his staff and when they reached at Shah Alam Band Road Near Capital Valley Hotel Jh.puri, Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 702/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Jahangir Puri and accused Wasim S/o Shamim R/o I-1625 Jh.puri Delhi, age 27 yrs has been arrested.
On 27.07.22 at about 01.25pm, HC Vipin Yadav of PS Jahangir Puri was on patrolling duty with his staff and when they reached at Hathi Wala Park C Block Jh.puri, Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 703/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Jahangir Puri and accused Karan @ Mange Ram S/o Sher Singh R/o C-1058 Jh.puri Delhi age 30 yrs has been arrested.
On 27.07.22, Ct. Arun Kumar of PS Adarsh Nagar was on patrolling duty with other staff and when they reached at Petrol Pump Wali Gali, Lal Bagh, Azadpur, Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 721/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Adarsh Nagar and accused Pawan S/o Rajpal R/o C-357, Lal Bagh, Azadpur, Delhi age-23 yrs has been arrested.
On 27.07.22 at about 10pm, Ct. Naresh of PS Mukherjee Nagar was on patrolling duty with other staff and when they reached at Ganda Nala Road, Hudson Lane, GTB Nagar, they caught a person with a button operated knife and a stolen scooty no. DL6S AS 3039 in case e-FIR no.015129/22 U/s 379 IPC PS Subji Mandi, Distt. North, Delhi. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 711/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act and 102 CrPC was registered in PS Mukherjee Nagar and accused Amar@ Sonu S/o Lt. Madanlal R/o Flat no. B-63 Ground floor, DDA Flats, Punjabi Camp, Jh. Puri, Delhi, Age-40 yrs has been arrested.
On 28.07.22 at about 3.30pm, HC Parkash of PS Shalimar Bagh was on patrolling duty and when he reached at Shamshan Ghat Road Near Gali No. 10, Ambedkar Nagar Haiderpur, Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 633/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Shalimar Bagh and accused Rahul @ Natta S/o Murari Lal R/o D-718, Gali No. 10, Ambedkar Nagar, Haiderpur, Delhi, Age-29 years has been arrested.
On 28.07.22 at about 9.30pm, HC Ravinder & HC Bhagat of PS Mahendra Park were on patrolling duty and when they reached near under-pass Shalimar Bagh, near Simla Gate, Azadpur Delhi, they caught a person with a button operated knife and stolen scooty in eFIR No. 018946/22 dt.10/07/22 U/s 379 IPC, PS Shalimar Bagh. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 955/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Mahendra Park and accused Shahrukh S/0 Kaluwa R/0 B-482 Jahangir Puri Delhi age 27 Years has been arrested.
On 28.07.22 at about 10.30pm, complainant Nazima w/o Chand r/o Jhuggi No. CN-101/290 CD Park Jh.puri reported that on 28.07.22 at about 10:15 pm her son namely, Kasib came home and he was drunk and showed a knife. Meanwhile, police staff came at the moment during patrolling and she handed over the knife to him. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 711/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Jahangir Puri and accused Kasib S/o Chand R/o Jhuggi No. CN-101/290 CD Park Jh.puri age-23 yrs has been arrested.
On 28.07.22, Ct. Arun Kumar of PS Adarsh Nagar was on patrolling duty and when he reached near Jhande Wala Chowk, Lal Bagh, Azadpur, he caught a person with a country made pistol. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 727/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Adarsh Nagar and accused Shivam S/o Narender Kumar R/o Lala Ram Wali Gali, Jhande Wala chowk, Lal Bagh, Azadpur, Delhi age-25 Yrs has been arrested.
