A GANG OF DESPERATE BURGLARS BUSTED WITH THE ARREST OF TWO ACCUSED PERSONS BY THE TEAM OF PS BURARI.*
• THEY ALSO BORROW LOAN OF RS 31.5 THOUSAND ON THE STOLEN JEWELLERY FROM A REPUTED FINANCIAL COMPANY.
• CASH RS. 72,000/-, ALL THE STOLEN JEWELLERY I.E. 04 GOLD RINGS, ONE PAIR GOLD COLOUR EAR RINGS, ONE PAIR PAYAL SILVER AND ONE FD BOND PAPER OF RS 7.4 LAKH (IN THE NAME OF GRANDSON OF THE COMPLAINANT) RECOVERED.
• 12 BUGLARY CASES WORKED OUT WITH THEIR ARREST.
BRIEF FACTS:
On 26.06.2022, the complainant Shri Sushant Kumar r/o Parwatiya Anchal, Burari Delhi, age-38 years, (who runs a travel company) approached PS Burari and reported in his complaint that on 25.06.2022, he went to attend one of his friends party. Next day in the morning at about 05:30 AM, when he returned home, he noticed that the main gate of the house was opened and the almirah kept inside the room was opened. whereas, his family members i.e. his wife and daughter were sleeping in separate air conditioned room of the house. Rs 1,40,000/-, 07 gold finger rings, 03 ear rings, 02 Mangal sutra, one pair of silver anklets and one mobile phone, make Samsung were found stolen from the house.
Immediately, a case vide FIR No. 533/22 dated 26.06.2022 u/s 380/457/34 IPC was promptly registered at PS Burari and investigation was taken up.
TEAM & INVESTIGATION:
Accordingly, a dedicated police team comprising of SI Satender Singh, SI Gajpal Singh, HC Praveen, HC Rahish and HC Pardeep was constituted, under close supervision of Inspr. Rajendra Prasad, SHO/Burari and guidance of Shri Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Timarpur to nab the culprits and work out the case.
During the course of investigation, the team scanned CCTV footage of the cameras installed in the vicinity of place of incident and the possible routes taken by the burglars. The team closely examined the nearby CCTV footages. During this, one person with sling bag was seen while blinking torch in one house far away from the place of occurrence. Considering him as the suspect, his image was shown to the complainant, who identified the sling bag as his own bag.
Thereafter, the route he followed was tracked with the help of CCTV footages, but suddenly he disappeared. After repeated examination of CCTV footage, it revealed that there were 05 TSRs and after some time there were only 04 TSRs left. The said TSR was tracked which led to another suspect. Finaly, two accused persons, identified as Pyarelal, age-32 years and Pappu @ Anand, age-34 years were apprehended on 30.06.2022.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, the accused persons confessed about committing the said burglary in the house of the complainant in the intervening night of 25/26.06.2022 and stole cash Rs 1,40,000/-, jewellery and mobile phones from the house of complainant.
It further disclosed that the accused persons had borrow loan of Rs Rs 31.5 thousand from a reputed financial company in replacement of stolen jewellery
At the instance of accused persons, total cash Rs 72,000/-, 04 Gold rings, One pair gold ear rings, one pair of anklet and one FD bond papers amounting Rs 7.4 Lakh *(in the name of complainant’s grandson)* recovered from their possession.
On sustained interrogation, it revealed that the accused *Pyarelal* is a habitual criminal with the history of involvement in 19 criminal cases including Murder, Burglary, House Theft, Theft and Arms Act etc and is an active BC of PS Bhalswa Dairy. *He was released from jail just a month ago in May, 2022*. The accused is a school dropout and has studied up to 8th standard only and he used to work as a labourer.
*Pappu @ Anand* has studied up to 12th standard, who also ply his TSR. Both the accused are also drug addict and commit criminal activities to earn easy money and to fulfil their lust of drugs.
MODUS OPERANDI:
Both the accused persons used to roam together in residential areas in search of locked house and enter in the same by breaking its locks.
KEY POINT:
Accused Pyarelal took sling bag from the house of the complainant, which was clearly identified by the complainant during investigation.
CASES WORKED OUT:
During interrogation, the accused persons also confessed about their involvement in other such cases in the area of PS Burari, hence 12 cases of burglary registered at PS Burari have been worked out with their arrest.

- Pyarelal r/o Jahangir Puri Delhi, age-32 years. (Previously found involved in 19 cases of Murder, Burglary, House Theft, Theft and Arms Act registered at Police Stations Bhalswa Dairy, Mahendra Park, Adarsh Nagar, K.N. Katju Marg, Prashant Vihar, Vijay Vihar, South Rohini, North Rohini, Begum Pur and Samay Pur Badli. He is an active BC of PS Bhalswa Dairy and was released from jail in the month of May, 2022).
- Pappu @ Anand r/o JJ Colony Bhalswa Delhi, age-34 years. (His previous antecedents are being verified).
